So, I spent a long time trying to pinpoint my views. Never really thought much about politics until I entered high school, where a large influx of different ideas came at me. There was the (very regrettable) right-wing phase, the (slightly less regrettable) extreme-left phase, the centrist phase, and ultimately, for a while, I just called myself apolitical (though I still held views) just so I didn't have to deal with all the confusing terminology.
Ultimately, in the last several months, I've realized my views are now pretty much set in stone, so here they are.
When it comes to economics, I really don't give much of a shit, but I especially like the idea of a free unregulated market with no monopolies (though nothing's perfect). In that respect, I'm quite Libertarian, as am I in regards to gun rights. I fully support the second amendment right to keep and bear arms, as not only are they useful for self-defense, they can be a great means of sourcing your own food by hunting instead of relying on the universally fucked-up slaughterhouse system. Not to mention, they can be a legitimate hobby (though one that MUST be done with extreme discretion and safety, lest someone get hurt).
In regards to human rights, I'm all for everyone being able to live happily without fear of discrimination, unless they themselves are the discriminators, or are otherwise hurting people (racists, pedophiles, etc. can fuck right off). I fully support the right for trans and non-binary people to seek and recieve gender-affirming care. Now this next bit can be seen as a hot take, but I think puberty blockers are ok, as they simply delay the onset of puberty until one stops taking them, following which puberty happens normally. I think the age at which someone should start recieving HRT can be lowered to 16, since by then, one is perfectly capable of making an informed, autonomous decision for themselves, though surgery should be held off until 18 or older.
I wholly support the idea of free universal healthcare, though I am aware that this can be a little bit contradictory to my Libertarian economic views, but there should potentially be a way to make that work. I think the government should take a minimal role where possible, but also work to make the people's lives better, as a govermnent should, since it's their job to serve the people.
I think the people should govern themselves where possible, and act in separation from the national government wherever they can. The people aren't dumb; we know how to govern ourselves. Now, I am aware that this would mean that people are able to form their own communities free of anyone they don't like (i.e. a community without any LGBT people, cuz they don't like us for some reason), but at the same time, other communities can be formed which act as a safe haven. I also think the government should not have any role in the topic of abortion, and that it should be a wholly private affair, done in private, non-governmental clinics.
So those are my views. They seem to be a hodge-podge of Libertarianism and Democrat ideology, so I guess if you had to give it a name (which I never could figure out for the longest time), it'd probably be something like "Libertarian Democrat" or something along those lines.
Thank you for your time
